Francine
with her parents, Pastor Frank and Mrs. Althea Lawson. Pastor Lawson is a
retired army major and is the pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Keyport,
NJ.
Since both of our father
were pastors, Francine and I decided to have the wedding at the Army post chapel
which was considered neutral ground and wouldn't offend either
congregation.
A
proud mother, Emily, with her son. My mother flew in from Southern
California to share this special day with Francine and me.
Francine
and I are pictured here with my brother Jonathan
and his then girlfriend Dawn. Jon is 18 months my junior and is a graduate of
Howard University and Northwestern University. He current resides in
Atlanta, GA working for Russell Athletic Co.
